goHAM Foundation does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes — ever.

- Donation Processor (pay.goham.org) — Donation transactions are processed through our third-party payment provider. We do not receive or store your payment card information. Please review their privacy policy at the time of donation.
5. Cookies
Our website uses a minimal number of cookies necessary for the site to function properly:
- Functional cookies — Used to remember your cookie consent preference so you are not shown the banner on every visit.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or analytics cookies. No personal information is stored in cookies on this site.

6. Assistance Application Information
When you submit an assistance application through our website, we collect and store the following information to assess eligibility and coordinate support:

- Medical information voluntarily provided (cancer type, years on cancer journey, type of assistance needed)
- Your physician's information (name, NPI number, office contact details, treatment center)
- Supporting documents you upload (bills, letters of need, medical statements, or other paperwork)
This information is used solely to evaluate your request, coordinate assistance, and maintain records of our charitable activities. It is never shared with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.
goHAM Foundation retains records of any bills or financial documents submitted in connection with assistance we have provided. This includes utility bills, rent or mortgage statements, medical bills, prescription receipts, and similar documents related to payments made on behalf of applicants. These records are maintained for our internal accounting, compliance, and audit purposes as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy:
- Mailing list subscribers: until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
- Contact form submissions: up to 24 months for correspondence records.
- Assistance applications: retained for a minimum of 7 years for nonprofit compliance and audit purposes.
- Bill and payment records: retained indefinitely as part of our financial records for any assistance provided on your behalf.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:
- Opt out of communications — Unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly.
- Request access — Ask us what personal information we hold about you.
- Request deletion — Ask us to delete your personal information from our records.
